Nepalese seed dispensers - not the first thing you'd imagine would make a good table lamp.

Mechanisation has now made seed dispensers redundant, but for hundreds of years, these beautifully carved objects were esential to crop growers in the foothills of the Himalayas.

To make these wonderfully tactile wooden lamps, two seed dispensers are stacked and joined, then wired up to meet UK and European wiring regulations.

Each dispenser and therefore each lamp is completely unique.

We have tried our best to suggest which lamps make good pairs but these lamps are so special, we think you should be able to buy them individually too.
