Candlestick table lamps are just so elegant, it's no wonder that they have a permanent place in the finest drawing rooms in the land.
The current trend for candlestick lamps is one of fussy designs which try to hard.
In typical contrarian style, we have sought out simplicity and traditional elegance - this lamp I think epitomises that aim.
Cast in one piece of (very) heavy aluminium, plated with a silver alloy and then finished with a clear, antiquing lacquer, this lamp will look as though it was passed down to you by a long lost rich aunt.
The tough lacquer means that, unlike solid silver, you won't have to keep the lamp polished - a simple wipe with a duster is all that's needed.
We have a couple of shades to go with this lamp - a white parchment tall empire shade with silver trim or a black coolie shade.
We couldn't work out which we liked more so it's down to you to choose!
