Description
This is a lovely little brass lamp, ideal as a bedside table lamp.
At just 7" across, it'll fit the smallest table and is only 16" high with the shade attached.
The brass lamp base has been hand beaten and this results in a leopard spot effect, accentuated by a bronze lacquer applied to the surface.
The lacquer gives the base a deep lustre and protects it - a simple wipe with a duster will keep it looking tip top.
The lamp is supplied with a 12" dusky parchment empire shade which complements the lamp perfectly.
Lamps like these are getting harder to find with the rise in popularity of glass and modern composite lamps.
I think there's still a place for a traditional "ethnic" brass lamp - they just look so darned good from decade to decade!
